Read the journal article “Rainbow of Women” to learn more about the NWC and its context, then complete the following research task.
This week you will be doing a variety of internet searches to see what you find about your delegate. You will:
Google your delegate (see the document that follows for more detailed instructions)
Google your delegate every which way – using info on address, family members, organizations, etc., etc. that you have collected the past weeks. In your research notes, include your search terms, and please make absolutely certain to cite everything that comes up, both the original source and the URL (e.g., if a newspaper article comes up on Google, cite the newspaper, publication date, author, etc., as well as providing the URL).
Search YouTube for any mention of your delegate. In your research notes, again list your search terms and what you found (title, summary, URL)
Do a social media search. Your delegate is more likely to be on Facebook and LinkedIn than Instagram and TikTok. If you find them, DO NOT CONTACT YOUR DELEGATE! In your notes, tell me your search terms, the sites you searched, and what you found, including links to their accounts if possible.
